- The bowl is decorated in the famile rose (fencai) palette with a beautiful "Nine Peaches" (jiu shou tao) motif – large, ripe peaches in shades of pink and red, hanging from gnarled brown branches with green leaves and small pink blossoms. This design is a classic auspicious symbol in Chinese art, representing longevity and immortality.
- The porcelain body is very white and glossy, typical of high-quality pieces.
- On the base, there is a square blue-and-white underglaze reign mark inside a double square border. The four characters read (Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi), meaning "Made in the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing Dynasty" (1736–1795).
- The overall style, colors, and painting technique are characteristic of Qing-dynasty imperial wares from the Qianlong period, though many later reproductions and 20th-century copies also carry this mark.
